Thank you, Hoover! With humility and gratitude, I’m honored to share that I’ve been elected to Hoover City Council for Place 1, capturing approximately 65% of the vote in a spirited race against Tanveer Patel. Your support—from door knockers to social shares—made all the difference. I ran because I believe in this city, and your confidence in me to serve reaffirms our shared commitment to accountability, transparency, and real results for our community.

This was my third run for City Council—and, as they say, third time really is the charm. After previous attempts in 2016 and 2020, each campaign taught me something valuable: how to better listen, how to better serve, and how to build coalition across neighborhoods. Throughout this race, our message was clear: we won’t just promise transparency; we will deliver it. With The Hoover Channel already livestreaming our city government and a resolution for a forensic audit in place, the difference between words and actions is real—and tonight, our community’s voice has made that difference count.

I’m energized to begin working alongside fellow Council members and Mayor-Elect Nick Derzis to bring Hoover the open government, fiscal responsibility, and responsive leadership we deserve.
